Year 2025 was probably the most difficult year I’ve ever had in terms of production. First, I *struggled* for basically two months on the finish of two high-gloss black explorers in the early summer. Extremely demoralizing and demotivating.

After I had finally finished those, I bought my summer holiday flight tickets for February. Few years ago, I promised myself an extra month of holiday as a 40th birthday gift for myself. That never happened. Decided to take at least one extra week this year, and work hard for the rest of the year to get back lost time.

In October, I got a repetitive stress injury on my left foot, keeping me from working a full month. And just a month after that, I got the same damned thing on my right foot; another three weeks wasted (gentlemen, check your work boots!).

So, instead of catching up with my production queue, I ended up lagging extra 2-4 months behind in 2025. Yay.

Finished a bunch of guitars in January, and a small handful are very close to finished now. Hopefully I can finally get going full blast when I return back to work.

Everything is always horrible.
